This picture was given to me by a friend of mine. Mother Mary's image appeared when a building across the street from this one was demolished. |

This picture is what is called my
"core self" drawing. A friend, Ruth, who channels and is quite
extraordinary in every way draws these pictures while in an altered state. Here is
an explanation of what you see here: This drawing is of how the soul that I extend from represents itself here. If the other aspects were to have a drawing done, I would show up as an aspect. What you learn from this drawing is who you truly are minus the ego and self-absorption that comes along with being physical. You find out what you need to work on the most and how you want to change things in your life. This drawing will most likely stay the same throughout this lifetime unless I do a lot of work on myself. |
First, look at the the orange and
red root-like image at the bottom of circle. This is my connection to the earth.
It is actually very weak. The large red ball just outside of the reach of the
roots signifies that if I made a grand connection to the earth, I could accomplish a lot.
Orange itself is energy, and as you see, i don't have much. The green signifies healing. The deep blue signifies psychic ability which is interpreted as intuitive abilities -- the ability to see people for who they really are. The small piece of violet at the top of the drawing signifies my spirituality. Basically, because it is so small, I deny my own spirituality. This means that I tend not to see myself as a spiritual being and that I tend to get very wrapped up in this physical world. The lighter blue colors are more earth related and are do not stem from my expanded awareness. The swirling tendrils reach from my core self to other aspects of my soul. The round figures that the tendrils meet with are other aspects of me. Basically, an aspect is another portion of my sould that is in existence in some other part of the universe. If a red or orange tendril were to reach out to an aspect, it would mean that the aspect is on the earth. If the aspect is not attached to the tendril, that aspect has moved away from the core self and has become an independent entity or a core self of its own.

This picture is my son's core self drawing. The fascinating part of this is that the colors follow almost exactly the pattern of the chakras in the body. From this picture, you can tell that my son's energy is very balanced. His colors are in line with the chakras, and he has large amounts of each one. I can't wait to watch him grow up! |
As you can see from the extensive
red at the bottom of the drawing, he is very grounded and has a wonderful connection with
the earth. The purple at the top
is dark and dense indicating that he definitely knows he is a spiritual being just here
for the ride. The pink indicates love, a very deep spiritual love. It is related to the green, which is heart chakra energy. Notice that the two aspects at the bottom are connected to red and pink tendrils. This means that they are on the earth as well. Ruth said that he would probably meet the aspect connected to the red tendril in this lifetime. |
