Self v. Ego Self
Beloved beings, I have chosen to come here today to speak with you about loving the Self. It is very interesting what you term depression. Depression is, in fact, the hatred of Self by the ego personality. In other words, when your ego self, that which you display to the world, is becoming so separated from the Self, it hates who you truly are.
The true way to healing this ailment is realizing where this hatred comes from. Realize it is not your parents or loved ones; it is not You; it is most definitely the ego. The ego wishes to remain on the earth expressing itself through the means provided there. It is quite content to run the show. When one becomes "depressed," one has allowed ego to run the show but is becoming aware of the Self. A great battle ensues as to who will be the face that greets the world. When one is expressing Self, one usually feels very vulnerable and weak. In fact, this is far from the truth. Truth, you are far from vulnerable. When expressing the Self in its entirety, you are at your most powerful. Most beings have felt those moments when you feel almost untouchable, limitless. These moments are the true expression of Self.
When expressing the Self, your power is not derived from the physical. It comes directly from Source, as you are a part of Source. You see, when Source is expressed through you without limitation, you become what your earth and its inhabitants strive to be. You become one with Source, one with the Self, one with each other. ‘Tis a great challenge, no? Absolutely.
You can begin by recognizing when those moments occur. Recognize when you are completely expressing Self. Once you have begun noticing those moments, try to extend them -- make them longer. After much practice and patience, you can obtain a state of being that you only have imagined.
This does not mean you are perfect or will promptly ascend into the heavens. It just means that you have achieved what the Earth Mother and its inhabitants have set out to do. At that point, go tell others. Teach others what you know. Teach them how to accomplish the same thing. This is all part of the process of moving to the next level, which your earth is destined to do.
As the human race is coming to realize who they truly are, they are finding that their current ways of being are no longer serving them. For instance, when you view another human being and immediately judge them, you are acting out of ego, not Self. There no longer needs to be judgment. There no longer needs to be participation in such a game. Such participation is futile and does not move you forward on the spiritual path. However, when the human race begins to exist in Self, they begin to move away from old patterning and into a new realm of being. The current conscious connection of human beings to Source is relatively weak, but it grows stronger with every awareness that occurs. You see, as beings you are one with Source, but you are not aware of the dramatic effect that Source has on your life. You are only aware of what you see and feel everyday. Thereby, you limit your participation in life.
When Self is in charge, Source is in charge. When you allow Self to manage all the events of your life, you allow Source to be in direct contact with your everyday motivations and thought forms. This process not only allows you to move forward on the spiritual path but also allows you to grow in leaps and bounds as a spiritual race, as a oneness.
You see, beloved Spirits, you are only a millimeter away from being who you truly are in everything you do. You are very near to manifesting what is your destiny on this Earth. You only have to take a few more steps toward Self. If you ever doubt your motivation or intention, just ask your self one question: am I acting out of Self or ego? You will immediately feel Self in the heart chakra and ego self will fade away if you are truly acting within the Self.
For now, beloved beings, you are well on your way to becoming what you wish for. You are on your way to the next step of light. You need only to hold on to Source to get the rest of the way.
