An Eye for An Eye vs Turn the Other Cheek
Okay. We are going to speak on a topic at the request of the channel, herself. She has asked why there is a difference between the two testaments of the Bible. Her wording was "turn the other cheek" versus "an eye for an eye." You see, you have all been evolving from the dawn to time. All beings, no matter what their vibration or etheric level, including angels, have been evolving throughout time. Therefore, everything changes within the universe at all times due the growth of the beings who have created it. Keep in mind that the beings that have created it are you and me.
As a result of this, the beings who wrote your bible -- those who were in human form, and those who channeled it -- were also evolving. Not only did the most obvious occurrence create such evolution -- Christ’s appearance -- but also beings within your planetary system learned that what they had created was not the only way of living. They also learned that living in harmony and peace was a much higher vibrational alternative to their warring and crusading.
Everything is in perpetual motion, constant evolution. Therefore, everything in the beginning of your bible was one way and everything at the end another way. Most certainly, growth impacted the writings and channelings at those times. Now, as we have said, not only did the channels change, so did the entities who were being channeled. This created quite a stir at that time. Many of you have attributed all of this change to the being called Jesus, or Sananda in the spiritual realm. This is partially true, but he came here because the human beings asked for some guidance. The warring and slavery of the early times in your book created quite a great deal of strife for not only the slaves but those within power who sought to become true rulers, those who rule with light and grace rather than dictating power. You see? Because of the need for change, a being was chosen, Sananda, to come to this planet and shake things up a bit. He chose to come here in body through what you term a miraculous birth and show everyone here their own potential, who they could be if they only remembered that they were all created in the light of All That Is.
He was rather successful in changing the minds of those he touched. He was rather successful in creating a love grater than any ever known on your planet before that time. This is evident in what is so different about your great book. Keep in mind, however, that not always was the information given accurate. The translations have lost a lot of the original information that showed God’s light throughout the book. God’s light was in every word and the true path of the light and love in beingness was always in the writing. The writing was often altered by those afraid to say exactly what was told to them and by those who were in power and were afraid that their power could be questioned and overtaken. Plus, the translations from one language to another have lost much of the original word of God.
So, you see, evolution is what has caused the differences in your great book.
